Data sources and access
Every price links to the vendor page it came from and shows when it was checked. We also keep the unit and any condition that prevents a fair comparison.

Download the current data
You can download the current data without an account or email address. The JSON API is a structured web data feed at BackupStoragePrices: Api. Its health file at BackupStoragePrices: Health reports the age of the data. The CSV, a spreadsheet-ready text file, is at BackupStoragePrices: Object storage prices.
The latest JSON file contains the full current price set. The health file reports how old the data is; it does not provide a fallback price. The CSV contains the narrower storage-rate table with each rate's status, source URL, and check time. A missing price has an empty amount and the status not published, never a numeric zero.
What we copy from vendor pages
BackupStoragePrices restates discrete public price figures with attribution, a link to the vendor's page and a retrieval timestamp. It does not republish a whole catalog, marketing copy, artwork or branding as its own.
A public price does not automatically permit repeated scraping, long-term caching, or redistribution of price history. For each price, we say whether it came from an official API, a downloadable vendor file, or a public page checked by hand. This policy was reviewed on 2026-07-26.
How each price is sourced
Each price observation names the vendor, product, storage class, region, currency, meter and unit. It also carries the direct public source URL and the time the source was retrieved. The displayed unit remains visible when a conversion is made.
Attribution does not mean the vendor endorses this site or its calculations. A source link lets the reader inspect the vendor's wording, scope and exceptions. If two official pages disagree, the site shows the conflict instead of quietly choosing the more convenient number.
Using the data files
The JSON, health, and CSV files are read-only. Not every vendor publishes every charge. A free allowance may be known even when the price beyond it is not; some vendors publish a price only in another currency; and some checked vendor pages give no price. Unknown, out-of-date, and conditional values also stay missing rather than becoming zero.
Respect HTTP cache instructions and stop when a request returns an error. Do not bypass access controls or rate limits. These files may change and are not guaranteed to stay online; contact the operator before building a service that depends on them.
Corrections and reuse
Use the contact form for corrections, source questions, or repeated-access requests. Include the provider, product, region, charge, source URL, price, and the date you saw it so we can check the claim.
A screenshot without its page URL and date is a useful lead, but it is not enough to change a price. We update the data only after checking the corrected value and where it applies.
