Vultr Object Storage pricing for backup storage

Vultr sells five bundled object-storage tiers. Each base fee includes 1,000 GB of storage and 1,000 GB of outbound transfer, then storage overage changes by tier while outbound overage stays $0.01 per GB. Request prices are not published, and Archive also leaves retrieval and temporary-copy billing incomplete, so real restore totals remain not published.

Price your own workload against every vendor, including the worst-day restore and how long it takes to come back.

What the pricing page does not lead with

  • Every listed tier has a base fee that includes 1,000 GB storage and 1,000 GB outbound.

The zero per-GB bands are bundled, not free.

  • Request pricing is not published.

All request-bearing restore totals must remain not published even when their storage and egress subtotals are known.

  • Archive restore requires a Standard readable copy.

The recovery receipt needs temporary-copy storage in addition to archive storage and outbound transfer.
