Backblaze B2 Pay-As-You-Go is one always-hot storage class. The storage line is simple, but the restore bill depends on monthly average storage because free egress stops at three times that average. Above the boundary, direct internet egress is billed; eligible partner paths use a different rule.

What the pricing page does not lead with
Monthly average storage is calculated from byte-hours over the billing cycle.
Deleting data just before the invoice closes does not retroactively shrink the average that sets both storage usage and the 3x egress allowance.
